The 2019 Acadia offers two powertrain options, both paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. 
  • Standard Engine: A 2.5L four-cylinder engine with 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. This engine features Stop/Start technology and delivers an EPA-estimated 21 city/26 highway MPG with front-wheel drive (FWD).
  • Available V6 Engine: A 3.6L V6 engine with 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. This offers significantly more power and allows for a maximum towing capacity of up to 4,000 pounds when properly equipped. 
Trim levels
The 2019 GMC Acadia was available in multiple configurations to suit different budgets and needs. 
  • SL: The base trim, featuring a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, five USB ports, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
  • SLE-1 and SLE-2: These trims offer more options than the SL, including the available V6 engine on SLE-1 models and standard heated front seats on the SLE-2.
  • All Terrain: This package, available on SLE-2 and SLT-1 trims, includes a more advanced all-wheel-drive system, distinctive styling, and removes the third-row seating to focus on off-road capability.
  • SLT-1 and SLT-2: These trims add more luxurious features, such as leather-appointed seating and a standard 8-inch infotainment display on the SLT-1, with the SLT-2 making the V6 engine and some safety features standard.
  • Denali: The top-tier trim, featuring a unique grille, polished wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, and a hands-free power liftgate. 
Interior and technology
  • Spacious cabin: The Acadia offers a three-row layout with seating for up to seven passengers. The second row features Smart Slide seats that make access to the third row easier. While the third row is tight for adults, it's suitable for children.
  • Infotainment: The GMC IntelliLink system includes a 7-inch or available 8-inch touchscreen that is responsive and easy to use. It features standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
  • Connectivity: All trims come with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and five USB ports, with charging ports in all three rows. 
Safety features
The Acadia includes standard safety features like a rear-vision camera and a Rear Seat Reminder system.
